While I was on vacation at the beach, I was amazed at what I saw. People (majority it seemed) were no longer reading books and newspapers, but had iPads and other tablets, kids were speaking on their cell phones and when the life guard was called to duty, to save a older man's life, he used a WIFI enabled medical device that sent the patient’s life support data to the incoming helicopter — data that was likely transmitted to the hospital so that the doctors had the necessary information …
It is amazing to me how connected products are so integrated in our daily lives and the far reach of M2M. From vending machines to telematics, transportation to medical device, it seems that the world of opportunity is endless and with the new generation of adopters using all of these technologies, it seems like our world is changing for the better everyday.
