Company Overview

BUG Labs is a New York City-based open-source hardware company and maker of the BUG, a "Lego set" for wireless devices, designed to reduce risk, expense, and time-to-market by enabling product developers to quickly and easily build and program custom hardware. This powerful tool exists as the heart of the Wireless Innovation Platform, a workflow and collection of hardware/software/manufacturing services created to speed developers through from concept to market.
Using the BUG, as a developer, you can, on day one, connect custom wireless devices to the Axeda Platform. You can quickly create a semi-polished version of your device, build your software on top of the actual end-product hardware, and conduct real-world testing in front of your customers. You can then use all of that information to revise and iterate your design, and aim to show real traction and progress to prove viability and get funding.
